Red & Pink Dip Dye Hair - Smart Beauty: Smart Colour Semi-Permanent Hair Dye - Neon Pink

Superdrug £4.99
Hello~ Its been a while and I have a new hair colour again~ >.< My hair colour addiction is definitely on the rise again! xDD

Lately i've been obsessing over pink hair again, as G.E.M (鄧紫棋) not long ago dyed her hair pink. Of course when you mention pink hair, Krystal's hair is never far away.

However I dip dyed mine pink, instead of dying my full head since I don't finish school until mid July, so going full pink is not a good idea.

_______________________________________

To start off - I bleached my hair with 30 volume developer and left it on for 30 minutes. The result was a bright orange since I have red hair. The photos below show you the results in indoor lighting and in sunlight. The bleach left my hair quite dry as I have bleached it several times in the past, so I left it orange for the week, to condition it and because I did not have time to dye it.

During my orange hair week, my friends started giving me ginger nicknames. Thank you guys. T^T </3

Left Photo - Indoor Lighting
Right Photo - Sunlight
I applied the dye and left it on for 1 hour. I did not dilute the dye as I wanted the optimum vibrancy of the dye to come out so that my orange hair gets covered.

Results!~~~ ^__^

The colour is still very vibrant in indoors night-time lightning.

I loveeeeeee the results, its so bright! *_* I is a very happy girl! ^__^

So are any of you guys trying out a new colour for summer? ^__^

Products I've Used Up & Reviews #1 - May 2014 Empties!

My first empties post~ Maybe for my next empties post i'll wait until I have more products used up since the photo itself it looking quite empty. >.< Or maybe its just me because I liked crowded/cluttered photos xDD. Anyway here are the products I managed to finish up this month and some mini reviews. ^__^

Schwarzkopf - Got2B Guardian Angel 220C Heat Protection Spray 200ml
Superdrug - £3.99

This spray is wonderful! The scent is gorgeous and leaves the hair smelling lovely throughout the day. I love how it leaves my hair soft and shiny, so I don't need to spray on extra products to make it shiny. I use heat on my hair A LOT! Blow drying, straightening, curling etc. I have not experienced any dry ends or split ends with this, so it protects the hair very well. This heat protector does the job effectively, its good quality, lightweight and leaves the hair soft and shiny. Of course I have to mention the affordable price. Its a winner for me! Only con I can say about this spray is that it protects heat up to 220C and majority straighteners are 230C, so it could improve on that for maximum protection. ^^

Rating: 9/10
Would I repurchase? - YESSS! One of my favourite drugstore heat protectors. ^_^
Would I recommend it? - Definitely!

SALON tech - Straightening Spary 150ml
Savers - 89p

I saw this in Savers and was temped to try it since its super inexpensive and I was curious since I have not used a straightening spray before. The scent for me is meh, since it reminds me of melons and I am not a fan of melons. It does the job of straightening, however I feel that it leaves my hair feeling a bit dry. Which I cant really complaint about for the price. I didn't expect much from it since very inexpensive, but it does the job decently so its great for those on a low budget.

Rating: 4/10
Would I repurchase? - Nope
Would I recommend it? - For those on a low budget or want to experiment with products like me~

SKIN79 - Super+ Beblesh Balm Triple Functions BB Cream - Hot Pink / Pink Label
Sasa - HK$198 (£15.17)

First thing I definitely have to say about this BB cream, is that it will last for AGESSS! I've used it for over a year before it finally ran out. It has a medium coverage, it evens out skin tone and it covers my acne and acne scars pretty well. The acne scars did still manage to peak through a little, but a little concealer on top does the trick. I found that near the end the day the BB cream does wear off.

It has a thick consistency so some people may find it heavy. Its creamy and smooth so it blends out beautifully and its quite moisturising. I don't know how to describe the scent but its very "pretty" and pleasant, not offensive at all.

The BB cream is ashy / grey which will brighten up the skin. It can make you look a bit ghostly at first, but the BB cream does oxidise to match to your skin tone. I like to mix this with foundation so that the finish is less ashy. The BB creams gives a dewy and natural finish. For those with oily skin like me will definitely need to powder it, and blot throughout the day as you may look a bit greasy after a few hours.  Overall a good product, this is one of the first BB creams i've tried and I do not regret buying it.

Rating: 7.5/10
Would I repurchase? - Yep, but I would like to try other BB creams~ ^^
Would I recommend it? - Yes, however I would recommend the gold label more as its last longer, less ashy and is more firm.

L'Oreal Paris Superliner GelMATIC Eyeliner - Ultra Black 1
Superdrug - £5.99

Read my full review here. I still stick by what i've said. Only update I have is that when I used 2/3 of the eyeliner, it started to dry. Which made it hard to work with as it was not soft, so i've stopped using it and will be throwing it away.

Rating: 6.5/10
Would I repurchase? - I would'nt mind; but unlikely as I would like to try other eyeliners.
Would I recommend it? - Yes as it highly pigmented and does not smudge like pencil liners.

Max Factor - Lipfinity Lasting Lip Tint - 05 Marshmallow
Boots - £6.99

The scent of this is tint is very sweet and lovely. The colour range is nice, has loads of colours suitable for everyday wear. Its has a felt tip point that makes it easy to apply. It drys up quickly and stains the lips so its does not transfer. It does't hydrate your lips so you would need to apply a lip balm. I was quite disappointed with this product as I found that it was not long lasting and it required touchups throughout the day. Another thing is that the pen dried up quite quick, so it resulted in uneven application.

Rating: 3.5/10
Would I repurchase? - Nope, as the quality was not good and the product dried up quickly.
Would I recommend it? - Nope, there are better lip tints on the market around the same price or less.

LypSyl - Intensive Protection Lip Balm SPF 15 - Honeyberry
Poundland £1

I LOVEEEE how moisturising the formula is, its gives intense hydration like it claims and its sinks right into the lips. Its non greasy and leaves the lips hydrated throughout the day even after the balm as worn off. It also leaves a slight cool feeling on the lips. The scent of the balm is minty with a hint of honey, I personally don't mind the scent but whenever I apply it around my friend Jess, she tells me how its smelly.

Rating: 9/10
Would I repurchase? - YESSS, its inexpensive and very hydrating. This is my 4th one!
Would I recommend it? - Of course! But not to those that find parfam / scents offensive.

W7 - Secret Concealer Kit
Gift - £5.98 on Amazon

I think the concept of the concealer is nice as the powder is at the bottom, so it saves space. The pot is small so its great for traveling. However this results in very little product. The concealer has a light to medium coverage. The concealer has a creamy texture, so it blends into the skin nicely, but I feel that its quite greasy. The concealer does slip and slide due to being greasy, even with the powder. The powder does do a very good job at absorbing the oils what so ever. Overall just not a very good product.

However I used it up anyway because it would be rude to throw away gifts and I would feel bad for not using them up. >.<

Rating: 3/10
Would I repurchase? - No
Would I recommend it? - No; not long lasting, concealer slides and the powder does not do a good job. Also better products on the market at the same price or lower.

EOS - Lip Balm - Summer Fruit
ColourMix HK$37 (£2.83)

The packaging is very cute, unique and eye catching. Whenever I use this lip balm, people that have not seen it before question me what it is. However in between the twist lock of the packing, it gets dirty very easily. The dome shape of the balm enables easy application. The scent and flavour of the balm is  subtle, so its pleasant and not offensive. It has a light non greasy formula. I like how it does not transfer whilst eating or drinking. The balm does a decent job at moisturising but its nothing special. I personally feel that these lip balms are over rated as its not very moisturising and the moisture does not last long. I would say that this balm is more of an accessory.

Rating: 5.5/10
Would I repurchase? - I don't mind but unlikely too.
Would I recommend it? - Nope as there are other lip balms on the market do a better job at moisturising the lips at the same or lower price. e.g LypSyl - Intensive Protection Lip Balm mentioned above.

Unbranded Eye shadows
Gift

Theres not much I can say about these eye shadows since I received these from a makeup gift set. Its unbranded so if I was rant about it would be point less as I doubt that other people would end up with the same eye shadows. But i've included them in this post since after all it is a products empties post. xD

Like I said above - I tend to use up gifts, because it would be rude to throw them away and I would feel bad for not using them up. >.<

Rating: 1.5/10
Would I repurchase? - Nope
Would I recommend it? - Nope, very low quality, powdery and not pigmented.

Tell me in the comments below what products you guys have used up this month? ^^
